City of Annapolis Emergency Management Director
Scott L. Oatman is currently the City of Annapolis Emergency Management Director and the Iron County Emergency Management Southern Coordinator. He has volunteered to oversee Southern Iron County Emergency Management and City Annapolis Emergency Management for over six years under the Iron County Emergency Management Director.
He has worked beside some great people over the years and some of those people have made a good team which has formed into the City of Annapolis Emergency Management Team. They have all volunteered very long hours and days to help protect the community and do their best to keep you informed.
The City of Annapolis Emergency Management Team is “Voluntary Community Service” and their responsibilities when activated are below. They also meet regularly to discuss emergency plans and improve awareness and communication.

In the event of a disaster that hits our community, the roles of these individuals change immediately. The Mayor and the Emergency Management Director will remain in control of emergency operations within the city.
