Specialty Granules, INC (SGI) has made it possible to better track radar and incoming severe weather and tornadoes for the community. They donated equipment for the City of Annapolis Emergency Management to watch the radar and communicate more efficiently.

The US National Weather Service – St. Louis Meteorologist came to Annapolis on May 12, 2022, to work with the emergency management team to utilize RadarScope to make local weather decisions.

We will not wait until a Tornado Warning to be issued to make contact, if possible, we want you to have the opportunity to move people early if you chose to.
